The Friends have three big book sales each year with over 20,000 like-new and gently used books and puzzles for all ages at bargain prices. Sales run Friday through Sunday. Fridays are members only (non-members can join at the door) and a special after-hours Sip & Shop is included for members on Friday at the December sale. Sunday shoppers can bring a bag and fill it for $10. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags all three days.

Large-order shoppers are asked to comply with the Guidelines for Book Dealers and Other Large Order Customers.

The library parking lot is very full during the book sale. Additional parking for book sale customers is available in the back section of the Fast Med parking lot at 1407 East Franklin.
