Book Sales

The Friends hold three weekend-long book sales each year with thousands of books in all categories priced to sell quickly.

The Friday of each sale is members only. Non-members can join at the door. Saturday and Sunday are open to the public, including Sunday's bag sale.

Sip & Shop

The Library is open after-hours from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the members-only Friday of the December book sale. Friends members and guests (one guest per member) enjoy free wine, light food and dessert while browsing book bargains.

Annual Membership Lunch

Each year all Friends members are invited to attend our Annual Membership Lunch. This free event includes a brief annual meeting where you can hear about the impact your membership makes on the Library and enjoy a fun program.

Annual Raffle

The Friends display a variety of themed raffle baskets – including books and other fantastic items – in the Library's "Bookie Monster" window prior to one of the book sales. Raffle tickets are sold online in the store and in-person at the book sale.
