If you love the Library and what it provides, joining the Friends is a great way to show your support. The Friends play a vital role in helping Chapel Hill Public Library to serve the community in better and more diverse ways.
Some of the most current evidence of Friends’ gifts are the high visibility signage around the Library, the new look and comfortable furniture in the lobby and the Circulator – pop-up Library. Friends support also brings you Saturday movie matinees and the great performances and programming for children and adults including the summer and winter reading programs and banned book trading cards. And, of course, Friends dollars contribute to the Library’s ever expanding collection of books and electronic media. Gifts from the Friends help make all these things and more possible.
