Book Sales

The Big Book Sale

The Friends most important fund raisers are the Big Book Sales.   The sales include thousands of books donated by the community’s residents to the Library.  Some go to the Library’s collection and some to the Friends Book Store and the rest are sold by the Friends in three-day Big Book Sales three times a year.  Sales are organized by category and books are priced to move quickly.  Fridays are for Friends members only; Saturdays and Sundays are open to the public.  Sunday is Bag Sale day.  Bring your own bag the size of a grocery paper bag, or we will provide one.  Shoppers can fill them for $5.00 per bag with no limit on the number of bags.

Big Book Sale Dates and Location

Dates are announced on this web site, the Library’s web site and local newspapers as well as in the Friends Newsletter and email from the Friends and the Library.

The location is all four meeting rooms off the lobby.
